The DALI/DSI signal is now the established technology for controlling light in building installations. At the same time there is growing demand for modern LED lighting systems but these are often equipped with DMX receivers. To enable them to be used in DALI systems the fi multi-dmx 3e converts DALI signals into DMX signals.
The DALI dimming values are output as a DMX data stream with three channels. In self-detecting mode the device also converts DSI signals into DMX signals, for which no user intervention is necessary. The signal converter operates in a voltage range of 85 to 260 V.
fi multi-dmx 3e is therefore ideal for integrating single or multiple DMX luminaires into a DALI system. If however a relatively large system based on DMX luminaires is to be installed it is best to use one of our DMX controllers.
